Olive Oil is a divine product, the essential key of the Mediterranean Cuisine and Culture. This wonderful perennial tree was first systematically cultivated in Greece and specifically on our island Crete, during the Minoan era, which reached its peak between the years 2000 and 1450 B.C. If you want to add a special culinary treat to yourself, we suggest a private Olive Oil tasting session followed by a Cretan Traditional meal. We will introduce you to the world of Cretan Olive Oil and you will learn how to properly taste, by experiencing the contrasting characteristics and flavors of an Olive Oil. We have put together a specially designed menu consisting of 4 dishes to help you perceive the varied tastes and flavors of olive oil when used with different cooking methods.
